Ingredients for making Easter Egg with Strawberries:
For the strawberry mousse:
1½ cans of condensed milk
1 box of fresh cream and ice cream
6 tablespoons of Nesquik powdered strawberry flavor
2 tablespoons of butter
For the chocolate ganache:
250 grams of milk chocolate or semisweet bar
½ box of sour cream
To decorate:
500 grams of fresh strawberries
How to make Easter egg on a platter with strawberries:
First prepare the strawberry mousse with Strawberry Nesquik by placing the condensed milk, Nesquik and butter in a pan. Place over medium heat and keep stirring until it thickens and you can see the bottom (as in the photo). Turn off the heat and set aside.
Tip: The point of this cream should be similar to the point of soft brigadeiro.
Separately, beat the cream until light and voluminous. Then, using a fouet or spatula, gradually add the strawberry cream until you get a mousse-like mixture.
Tip: To beat the cream well it should be cold. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before preparing this recipe.
Wash and cut half of the strawberries in half, in slices or chop into small pieces. Place in the bottom of an ovenproof dish or glass dish and cover with strawberry mousse. Reserve in the fridge.
To make the chocolate ganache, chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a bain-marie or in the microwave - to melt chocolate in the microwave, put on full power for 2 or 3 cycles of 30 seconds, removing to stir. When all the chocolate has melted, add the cream, mix well and let it cool.
Tip: If you prefer a less sweet dessert, use semisweet chocolate.
When the strawberry mousse is a little more consistent, pour the chocolate ganache over it. Decorate with remaining strawberries and set aside in refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. Then just enjoy this incredible strawberry bonbon on a platter. Bon appetit and happy Easter!
